Speaking of running, our 1/2 marathon training OFFICIALLY begins today! I think all the ladies have been working up to it the past few weeks, but today is the official start. I'm ready, I'm excited, and exhausted. I'll just have to keep resting this week as much as possible to gear fully up again. I'm going to work on my incline still adding to my runs every week, like this week should be 3, 2, 3, 6 mile runs if I were following the past couple, but technically for training, I'm only required 3, 2, 3, 4. So, if I make that, I guess life will be good :)Other good things to come this week:
Gator Football starts Saturday! Oh the joy! Another post coming about that :)
Labor Day weekend...long weekend!
I'll be 'on a boat'! Wakeboarding!
Spending time with those I love!!!
Happy Monday! Here's a quote I'll leave with you today, I'm trying to work on this in my own life:
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” --Charles R. Swindoll
