Tell It To Me Tuesday...

I'm linking up again with CMae in 'Tell It To Me Tuesdays'!

one.
Sick people who think it's cool to infect others.
Yes, it sucks to be sick.  And it does suck even more that you might be missing out on work, class or playtime with your friends.  But it's going to suck even more if your presence infects others.  If you are sick...just steer clear of other people for a few days and stop coughing all over the copy machine!  It's common courtesy.  You might be feeling a bit better but if you have signs of your illness still going on, just give it a little time.  If you get me sick...I'll want to punch you in the face.

two.
People putting too much information up on Facebook.
I like you in real life.  That is why I accepted your friend request, but lately, my liking towards you has been waning...you see...you post wayyy too much.  I do not care that you used the crazy stalker's best friend and 'checked into' Starbucks for the 4th time this week, and then you went to work...like you do every other day.  Nor do I want to hear once again that your 'boyfriend is the most awesomest honey-bear that you could ever ask for because he cooked you dinner', for the millionth time...  If it was every once in a while, I'd think 'aww, how sweet', but you've gone from sweet to annoying.  Oh, and I'm really tired of the passive aggressive posts.  Life isn't always going to go well, but why not either put it out there or just work it out in private?  It's great to share, it's just everything in moderation!  Let's keep some of those personal moments just that...personal.

three.
Shady Realtor people...
So, we put in an offer on the house I mentioned a bit ago.  The realtor tried to play this bartering game.  It's not a short sale, so that's not allowed I didn't think. (If anyone is a professional out there, correct me if I'm wrong.)  This guy calls on Saturday morning telling us to bring out best offer because he also has another offer.  Aren't they supposed to present all offers to the owner in order of receiving them?  We did offer less than asking price, but the house is not livable and we did a lot of research beforehand for values in that area.  I felt like he was just trying to push up the number since he works on a %.  It makes me mad...just let the owner decide.  They can reject or counteroffer if they so choose.  He was a rude individual besides this issue.  I won't ever be seeking any help from them...ever.

That about wraps it up for the week!  Join in with CMae!

Tell It To Me Tuesday...

I'm linking up with CMae for her first edition!

I drive 22 miles to work every day. 16 of those miles are straight down one two lane semi-rural road that is under construction.  School buses are my vice...or the kids travelling on them are anyway.
You see, when I was a kid, things weren't all about kids.  We weren't treated badly, but we were expected to be considerate.  Now, kids aren't as a general rule...we're told to cater to them so we won't ruin their childhood or some bull$#!^.  When I road the bus, if we were not sitting at the bus stop in line when the bus got there, they left us.  End of story.
Back to my issue...the school bus stops on this road probably 7-8 times on this stretch of road...and that's just ONE of the many buses that travel here.  But each time, the stop sign comes out, the red lights turn on, and we wait...literally 5 minutes for these kids to get out of their parents cars and mosey on over to the bus.  Really?! Backing up traffic on this entire road.  If they're going to allow kids to do this...make them pull over.

Let me preface this by saying I am not a slow driver.  I've had plenty of tickets in my day.  I'm not a horrible, break the law speeder, but I do carry a 5+ mph buffer when I'm on the highway.  I do not, however, speed whenever construction workers are present.  As mentioned before, those 16 miles that are under construction on my daily commute...most of the way there are men and women out there working.  I'm actually friends with the construction crew on that road, since I also work in a different division of the construction industry.  All of these people have families who love them.  I will not endanger them for your benefit...so stop riding my ass!  I'm not going to go any faster...and you're just going to sit behind me on this two lane road ALLLLL the way.  No, I won't be nice and speed up now either when we're out of the worker's way since you've been rude and unsafe this entire trip.  K Thanks.

People who wear too much cologne or perfume anywhere, but especially at the gym.
Yesterday, as I was running at the gym, I suddenly felt nausea overtake me instantly.  Stupid too much cologne guy decided to post up next to me on the treadmill.  I understand you probably don't want to be smelly...I don't want you to be smelly either, but deodorant does just fine for that.

Anonymous or mean-spirited bloggers.
So, today I was reading one of my favorite blogs and I saw that someone had left a mean comment for no reason.  Her blog is light hearted and funny and she pokes fun at herself and other things going on in life.  So instead of just letting go the topic this commenter did not like, mean-commenter slammed and then insulted the author of the blog instead of just choosing to click the little 'x' in the corner.  I think we all blog because it's a good outlet, a place to talk to others and make friends.  Most of us are here to build each other up.  If you don't like what someone's opinion is, or a comment they make, you can choose to just not read their writings anymore...let it go...it's your choice what you let into your mind and if you find something offensive...go elsewhere.

Onto other news...

I did succeed in hitting 10 miles on the treadmill last night.  'The Sound of Music' made it all better...seriously. It was a great run.  I always find it interesting to run for at least 6 miles in the evening at the gym...it's excellent for people watching.  Lots of rotations of people to see.

Say a little prayer for my grandma.  She fell yesterday and broke her arm and is waiting to hear what's next. :(

Also, in not so happy news, Chicken Little, the turtle, died.  I came into my office this morning the poor little guy was upside down.  I thought he was getting better but acted funny yesterday.  We had a little send off into the creek behind the office in a little open casket.  Yes, I get attached to all pets...

I'm pretty much ready for this week to be over.  I woke up thinking it was Wednesday, only to be disappointed and I haven't quite gotten over it yet.  Hurry Friday!
