1. I'm in a blah mood today.  I'm sure it has to do with this lovely weather we're having,

the fact that we're incredibly busy right now, and since I decided to finish month 2 of Insanity, I've used my precious time to do that instead of run.  I need to run.  It makes my body happy and in turn, that makes me happy.  I don't care what I have to do tomorrow, I'm running...and doing Insanity.  Up at 4:30 to do both Insanity and run to get it all done before work?  Sure!

2. I'm ready for the weekend.  It should be fun!  Friday night softball, Saturday wedding hair trail and then our group Valentines Day date night!  We started this last year and it was so fun!  

Why should Vday be for only romantic love??  I love my friends lots, so we're celebrating our love too :)  Dinner and a movie?  Why yes, I think I will!  Sunday, birthday celebrations for John's dad and my future SIL! Yay!!

3. I got a nice little surprise today.  I was talking to John on the way to meet a couple people for lunch and he was right down the road from where we were eating so he got to join us!  It was a very exciting moment in my day...it actually pretty much made it :)

4.Work has been slow lately, so it's making it hard to be motivated, although I know I need to be.  If I'm not motivated, then it's not helping us get anymore work...and then the cycle would continue.  Construction is a hard industry to be in right now...

5. I was chosen to be on some panel for a year for Clinique.  I'm excited.  I'm really hoping for free make up and for them to bring back a few items I thought were awesome!!

Bonus time at Belk right now to those that might be interested!! Free make up?!  I'll take it!

6. I'm not usually indecisive, but I'm tired of making decisions as of late.  I know people ask questions to be nice and get things right and to make sure things are as we'd want them for the wedding, but I'm tired of making them.  I'd like to be able to float through until the wedding but apparently that is not allowed.  Boo...haha.

We got our sand ceremony vases in.  These are what ours look like, obviously not our actual ones :)  We wrote our names on each of the small ones and in the center put our W last name, 'Today I marry  my best friend" and wedding date on the center one!  I love them...they're beachy looking so they'll fit for the wedding and the house!

I'm getting my wedding hair trail this weekend!  I'll be sure to take pictures before I mess it up so John doesn't see it.  He doesn't want to see anything that has to do with what I'm going to look like on our wedding day.

That I got to spend some time with my parents and grandparents this week after getting back!  And my grandma's arm is healing great!!!

All of these fruits!  I've been eating fruit like crazy lately, but I'm working on skipping out on sugar so this helps :)  Plus, there's nothing more satisfying than fruit in my opinion!

Sick people who think it's cool to infect others.

Yes, it sucks to be sick.  And it does suck even more that you might be missing out on work, class or playtime with your friends.  But it's going to suck even more if your presence infects others.  If you are sick...just steer clear of other people for a few days and stop coughing all over the copy machine!  It's common courtesy.  You might be feeling a bit better but if you have signs of your illness still going on, just give it a little time.  If you get me sick...I'll want to punch you in the face.

People putting too much information up on Facebook.

I like you in real life.  That is why I accepted your friend request, but lately, my liking towards you has been waning...you see...you post wayyy too much.  I do not care that you used the crazy stalker's best friend and 'checked into' Starbucks for the 4th time this week, and then you went to work...like you do every other day.  Nor do I want to hear once again that your 'boyfriend is the most awesomest honey-bear that you could ever ask for because he cooked you dinner', for the millionth time...  If it was every once in a while, I'd think 'aww, how sweet', but you've gone from sweet to annoying.  Oh, and I'm really tired of the passive aggressive posts.  Life isn't always going to go well, but why not either put it out there or just work it out in private?  It's great to share, it's just everything in moderation!  Let's keep some of those personal moments just that...personal.

Shady Realtor people...

So, we put in an offer on the house I mentioned a bit ago.  The realtor tried to play this bartering game.  It's not a short sale, so that's not allowed I didn't think. (If anyone is a professional out there, correct me if I'm wrong.)  This guy calls on Saturday morning telling us to bring out best offer because he also has another offer.  Aren't they supposed to present all offers to the owner in order of receiving them?  We did offer less than asking price, but the house is not livable and we did a lot of research beforehand for values in that area.  I felt like he was just trying to push up the number since he works on a %.  It makes me mad...just let the owner decide.  They can reject or counteroffer if they so choose.  He was a rude individual besides this issue.  I won't ever be seeking any help from them...ever.

Miscellany Monday

one.

I'm back!  The trip was great!  More to come on that later...like maybe tomorrow if I can remember to download my pictures!

I stayed in bed longer than I ever have before.  We're talking to bed at 10:30 Saturday, awoke around 10 Sunday and did not get my lazy butt outta bed until 1pm. Unfathomable for me...but I was exhausted to be fair.  Baring any illness, this may never happen again.  But for today...

...don't judge me.

three.

It's Monday and I'm happy to be back on a schedule.  I got up this morning at 5 and started month 2 of Insanity.

four.

I think I've been bit...

...by the marathon bug again.

I told myself I'd take a break for a while, but I don't want to anymore.  I like being able to say I can go run 20 miles just because.  So...I'm going to do another one...I think.  I was thinking of running in the Seattle Marathon in June, but John reminded me that we are getting married and are kinda busy the next couple months, so I may resort to holding off until November.  

Savannah's pretty and I've been wanting to go.  Plus, this is their first year...it's like being a part of history...ha!

five.

My wedding shoes came in today!!  I'm excited.  I'll share them with you soon.  My toes need a repaint first ;-)

I'm getting back on my eating healthy band wagon.  I've failed since December.  So, I'm going for round two. I think I can, I think I can not eat so much candy/cookies/cupcakes...Only time will tell.  I gotta be hot for my honeymoon...right?!

Zero Degrees is Too Cold For A Florida Girl

We've been hitting the slopes now for a few days, as well as a snowmobile trip. The weather was great the first few days...like in the 30's. Then, yesterday it looked like this:


But the temps were still pretty good.

Today looks like this:


all beautiful and sunny, but it's Zero Degrees! It's sooo cold. My body is not liking this! The good news is, I got pretty darn good at snowboarding this year with jumps and everything! They're baby jumps, but it's a start!

I wouldn't recommend it. In fact, it's the most horrible movie I've seen in a while. They sold it as a comedy, but it's not funny.

Well, I'm going to go sit in the hot tub in the pretty snow! More pictures to come when I get home!! Happy Tuesday Friends!!!
